Max had walked into Nicky's, and glanced at the clock. I wonder if she's an early person. Max glanced around and spotted Victoria at a table.
"Hey, Victoria!" Max said as she approached the table. "I sent a message to some of my friends so at least a couple should show up." Max gave her a smile, so as to assure the other girl.
((ooc: Btw, I'll RP Tyler coming here after you reply to Max. It'll make it more realistic of them streaming in at different times.))
(( I think I was invited into this thread. If not, pls have a mod delete this =D ))
Kitty had warred with herself most of the day since reading the invitation in Max's journal. She should go, but she wasn't sure she wanted to go, but Tyler might be there, so wasn't that exactly why she should stay home, because what if he was interested in the other girl, and so on.
Eventually, she got dressed. She was wearing a black skirt that fell almost to her knees, a red turtleneck under a black sweater (though she imagined the sweater would be too warm inside Nicky's). Ankle boots completed the outfit, leaving her legs bare.
She did show up around seven, though she didn't immediately see Max, so she kind of wandered among the people, a little lost.
)( Okie dokie. ^^ And don't worry Kitty-mun, All are welcome! ;D )(
Victoria was beginning to grow bored within the few moments that she was actually there.. Which wasn't long at all, but when a familiar voice played through her ears it was second nature for her to glance up and notice Max. Unfortunately, it took a little bit more effort to force a smile upon her face but as much as Vikki had been doing it within the fifteen minutes she was there, one would think she should have been used to it.
"Oh, heya there Max!" Hand raising to wave slightly. She hadn't noticed the wandering girl amongst the crowd yet, mainly because there were so many of them. "Awesome, I can't wait to meet everybody.. Well.. those who do come at least, heheh."
Max smiled back, "Well, I know I have one who promised he'd come and I think another one will come considering she's new too..." Max looked around, knowing Victoria wouldn't recognize them.
That's when she spotted Kitty, sort of wondering around. Max tried to flag her down with a wave, "Hey, Kitty, over here!"
She heard her name called by a familiar voice, and she smiled as she relaxed. Turning her head, she caught sight of Max waving, and she wove through the crowd toward her.
"Hi," she greeted her, and she offered a shy little nod toward the other girl, who seemed to be with Max.
When Kitty approached, Max smiled, "Hey Kitty! Glad you could come, this" Max turned to Victoria, "Is Victoria. She's also new here. And Victoria, this is Kitty." Max looked around the room a bit, "There's one more person coming, I'm sure of. And if Fang doesn't show up I can always give him a guilt call." Max smiled.
Tyler walked into Nicky's, avoiding people eyes like normal and glanced a group of girls at one table. One was them was obviously Max. Tyler walked up to them and gave a sigh. Meeting new people was awkward for him.
Though it did make him happier when he saw that Kitty had indeed showed up. He smiled and quickly tried to pass it off as a normal smile that someone would normally use and not one directed at someone else. "Hey Kitty....and Max," Tyler quickly added.
"It's nice to meet you," she murmured to Victoria. After a little hesitation, she settled into a seat at their table.
She had been invited, after all, even if it did seem a little awkward at the moment. She'd never been good with this kind of thing.
Her head turned when she heard Tyler, and she smiled shyly back to him. "Hey, Tyler."
Victoria let out a smile following the introduction of Max had gave. "It's great to meet you also!" leaving her lips in a way to make sure her tone remained welcoming.
Hands slid into the back of her pocket for a brief moment until she took note of the third person to come. A smirk forming on her lips, but not for reasons of meeting new friends. She had been all too familiar with who this boy was, mainly since it was her reasons for even being here in the first place. Granted she hadn't expected to come into contact with a Son so soon, today must have been her lucky day.
Max smiled, glad that Kitty had come. She seemed like a fairly shy person so the more people Max could introduce her to the more likely she'll have a nice group of friends.
"Ah, so it looks like you didn't chicken out after all!" Max joked when she saw that Tyler had joined the group.
Keeping the smile on her face, Victoria would glance over to Max as a means of starting some form of general conversation. "And who's this guy?" making its way through her lips.
Max remembered she needed to introduce ever person who came up, "Oh! Well, this is Tyler." Max introduced, "Tyler this is Victoria, another new girl like Kitty." Max said.
She offered him a gentle and rather innocent smile followed by her typical welcoming line of "It's nice to meet you, Tyler!" Despite how much her true thoughts disagreed.
Tyler gave Kitty a small smile back after she gave him one, when he heard Max introducing him to the new girl. Tyler gave his familiar nod and said, quite quietly, "Nice to meet you, too." Though he didn't blush like he had back at the school.
Taking in a deep breath, she would slide her hands into her back pockets. Thoughts revolving around how she would actually get this guy back to Chase.. Whatever she came up with, she knew nothing could be done until she got him alone. Mind beginning to trace over different ways of knocking him out though the smile on her face would have never portrayed such a thing.
Well, this was ...awkward. Kitty rested her hands on the table, fingertips drumming a quiet rhythm. Not that any of them would know, but it was the tune to the music to her floor routine.
She glanced between Max and Victoria and Tyler, and wondered is she really should have come at all, and then she wondered how she sucked so bad at small talk and meeting new people.
Victoria couldn't help how quiet everyone had been. Whether it was from being shy or just so much as not paying much attention, she didn't know.. Nor did she care for that matter. Eyebrows lifting slightly before trying to erase the awkward silence with "Well, I'm sure it'll be pretty awesome to stand here but there's a table open for us." coming from her followed by another smile.
Max wondered why people weren't talking and it hit her. Yeah, they're gonna need help talking considering two of them are either quiet or shy and the third is new.
When Victoria spoke about the table Max pipped up, "Oh! Of course, I was hoping some more people would come but we should probably sit down anyway." Max moved over to the open table and sat down, sort of gesturing for the others to follow as well.
When Victoria follow Max to have a seat once again, her eyes soon rested on the two unfamiliar faces who had arrived.. Well.. one unfamiliar.. Victoria had known quite a bit about the youngest Son considering her main goal was to bring about his timely death in the near future, or at least try to.
"Soooo, let me get this straight here. Kitty and Tyler right?" Index finger pointing to when mouthing the names of their owners.
Kitty nodded, a little smile on her lips. She'd followed them to the new table, kind of wondering what had been wrong with the one they were at. She studied the new girl curiously before she glanced to Max and Tyler.
Tyler walked over to the new table, trying not to bump into any of the people at Nicky's. When Victoria pointed and tried to confirm his name, Tyler nodded in response, "Yeah," Tyler took a seat at the new table.
"Oh okay, got cha'." Coming from her mouth with a nod. Only a fool would forget a name within the first ten seconds of learning it.. Ugh, I don't know how much longer I can remain under this act of possessing such a low intellectual level and integrating with these..people... Enough with the formalities already.. Wide smile still being portrayed on her face despite her thoughts. "So, now that we at least know each other's names heh, what about interests?"
Max smiled, Finally, people will get to talk! "I'll start!" Max said, assuming that the other two might not speak at first, "Well, I like to play soccer, read, animals, and I like to hang out and talk to people. Things like that." Max smiled and turned to the other three.
Kitty shrugged a little. "Gymnastics, dance, and ... physics." Which probably classified her as a geek - so she didn't elaborate. "I like looking at art, but I'm not any good at it."
