Reid wasn't doing much better. He wandered aimlessly around. Hell, he'd even gone home at one point. And all he'd gotten for it was a serious freak out from both Fang and his mother. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was who.
They'd automatically struck back up the brillant fuckingidea he needed therapy...yay. He sighing had like a good boy, gone. But not enjoyed it. He hated having a doctor treat him like he was whack. I just hurt the person I love the most...Can't I bitch for a bit.
Reid had to admit. He was less social. Girls hit on him sure. But he ignored them. He didn' smile as much and he...yes. That's right. He actually began doing his schoolwork. His grades began to escalate since he was actually focusing. But at the same time...
Reid sighed and as he passed through the courtyad he wandered aimlessly forward, before halting. He looked around and couldn't believe his luck...Taylor. Why was he always right there? Reid sighedand shook his head. He didn't need this now. He had therapy in an hour. He turned straight around and walking over to a bench he sat down and began flipping through his notebook stopping on a page and then opening his textbook, taking a few notes.
What the fuck have you done to me Taylor.
Taylor stopped dead in his tracks when he saw the blonde boy sitting on the bench in the courtyard. He couldn't be ten feet from him. God...not now... His stomach flipped and he bit his lip. "No...God, please..." He sighed softly.
At this point, Taylor was conflicted. Part of him wanted to go to the bench and punch the other boy in the face. The other part of him wanted to run over to him and apologize and beg for forgiveness.
Reid could tell the other boy was looking. He didn't need to be told or even use his power to tell. His eyes burned and he wasn't USING. God. He was getting a headache too.
Apologise! it screamed. His heache pounded. Shut up. He'd only ordered. I had. And Taylor hadn't cared. He'd wanted to break up anyway. Why? Cause I fucked up. I fucked up big time.
"Hiiiiiiii Reid!" a whole bunch of girls scurried up to him. All giggling and showing thier cleveage as much as possible. Reid rolled his eyes and looked to the side.
"Yeah. Hey..." the girls giggled.
"You. Are. Such. A. Tease."
"Wow. Really? That's funny. Cause you're all whores." He snapped his book shut. Taking out his anger about Taylor on these cheerleaders seemed ingenius. Cruel. But funny. The bimbos all stared at him opened mouthed. "You wanna know what's really great? I like dicks. Yeah. You heard me. I happen to find guys attractive. So just so you know, there was only one guy for me and your breasts mean about as much as your arms to me. Now. Go. Away."
The girls stared for another minute before laughing. "You are so hilariuous, Reid! Wow! You nearly had me!" Reid groaned. This was hopeless.
"Oh. Would you look at him? Taylor, new guy right? He's such a weirdo. I heard he really likes guys. He really is gay! No way! OMG! LIKE NO WAY!" Reid glared at them and awkwardly sent Taylor a glance. He was minding his own buisness, couldn't they leave him alone. "HEY TAYLOR! IS IT TRUE?"
"HEY!" Reid snapped, he didn't like this. He hadn't wanted to bother Taylor. But these girls made it kinda hard for them to stay away from each other.
What do I do?
Taylor had just started to turn to walk away when he heard the irritating bottled blonde cheerleader squeal something out at him. He cringed slightly. He usually avoided these types... "Is what true?" Taylor asked, taking a calming drag off his cigarette, walking over towards them. He didn't really want to get closer to them, but he'd rather be in talking distance so they didn't have to shout so much. They did that enough, anyway.
"Stop." Reid hissed. Of course they didn't listen.
"ARE YOU REALLY GAY?!" They squealed together.
"I SAID SHOVE IT!" Reid shouted his eyes flashed and he misused, lucky for him the girls were bobbing around in front of him no one could of spotted it, only a absent skateboard sitting over in the far corner began to roll and zoomed right under the girls, knocking them all over. Unfortunately Reid didn't step out in time and got hit too, he fall to the ground only to feel his head hit the pavement and hear a slight, crack! along with his wonderous stars dancing behind closed eyelids.
Wonderful. He sighed and shook his head, bringing himself back around he picked himself up and leaned back against the wall, nursing his head. The cheerleaders were all weeping over broken nails and split ends...
"Aw, shit. Ow."
"Yes, I--" He cut himself off, "Ba--Reid, are you okay?" He asked, mentally cursing himself for slipping like that.
"Huh?" Reid blinked the stars away, still there were suddenly two Taylors.
"Wow...Nice view." He winced and briskly rubbed at his eyes. "Y-yeah. I'm fine. Hey! You. GET OUT! LEAVE! WHAT ARE YOU WIMPS!" the girls all ran off crying.
"Bitches. Sorry about them..." Reid shrugged. "They cling to anything, or anyone for that matter..." Reid pushed himself up on the bench again and threw his notebook to the side. No way any school work could help him now.
"So...How are you?" he asked trying his best not to ruin things.
That conflicted feeling he'd been having before came back and Taylor felt his stomach turn. He couldn't punch Reid... And the other side was really overwhelming. "I'm sorry." He said quietly.
Reid blinked and looked up at him. "Huh?" Reid asked. The blank vacant stare it's usual thing. "What do you have to be sorry for? I fucked up." Reid put his head down. "I kissed Sarah when I was so lucky to have found someone who knew who I was and who supported me. I fucked up. I hurt you. And I deserve what you are giving me, so go on. Yell or hit me or whatever. I deserve it. I really really do."
"No," Taylor shook his head. "You...you had a lot going on. I mean...y-you just came out..and..in the middle of class and...you were scared...maybe even still a little confused. I..." Taylor let his eyes fall to his lap for a moment before he looked up at Reid again. "Reid...I'm going crazy without you. I haven't been able to stop thinking about you. You're...you've quickly become everything to me and..." He bit his lip.
Reid looked up at Taylor. Listening to him made Reid feel better. Every word Taylor said about loving him and thinking about him made the fact that the whole school knew he was gay, seem like a pathetic excuse.
"Tay." Reid said stopping him. He smiled up at him. "It's okay. Trust me. I know what you mean. I've felt the same way. The entire time..." He just nervously adjusted his beanie over his head. "I-i just thought you hated me...Because..Well...SOMEONE told me you did, and you didn't want to talk to me. They just kept texting me. So I just assumed-"
"Who?" He frowned. "Was it Sarah?" He asked, chewing his lip. "Cause...she kinda got to me a little, too. She...she said that I didn't mean anything to you and that you were just toying with me the whole time and...for a little while, I believed her, but I-I realized that...it was stupid for me to believe that and...I haven't gotten you out of my head since."
Reid nervously and awkwardly shuffled on the bench. "Yeah...It was Sarah..." He frowned then taking a deep breath he patted the seat beside him, as if to say, Sit with me please? I miss your company. in a single motion.
"What did she say? What did she do? Did she hurt you? I'll kill her. It's Caleb. He's always telling her I'm a bad example so then she goes out and spits it to anyone who believes. Did I tell you Caleb nearly got me suspended for that once, Him, Pogue, and Kate. I fucking hate them." Reid cracked his knuckles and glared at the ground but looked up at Taylor to show he really wanted to make sure he was okay.
Taylor sat down on the bench next to him, sitting at an angle to face him. "No, baby, she's didn't do anything. But...wait..I thought these people were your friends. I mean...Pogue, Caleb, Tyler... you grew up with them, didn't you? How...how can you hate them?"
Reid shook his head and put his hands on either side of his head. Enter the opposition.
"It's complicated." He admitted. "They just..have different beliefs and feelings about stuff then me. So I'm automatically the outsider. Caleb and I just don't get along. I can't stand that guy. But Ty-Ty is cool. He listens to me. Like you. Y'know? He doesn't find it funny to just snap at me over every little thing..Plus Caleb's stronger and better and just everthing. He gets all the breaks. And I'm stuck as one of his little sidekicks." Reid slammed his hand down against the bench, his fist got a red brusie around the knuckles as his teeth grinded. "Not anymore! I'm not his fucking partner. Reid Garwin takes care of no one but him--..." then Reid noted what he'd just said and he smiled at Taylor, touching his boyfriend's cheek. "And you of course."
Reid shook his head, and took a deep breath, "I'm sorry. I must sound psychotic."
"Baby, don't do that, you're gonna break your hand." He smiled softly. "And you don't sound psychotic at all."
He kissed Reid's knuckles. "Can I ask you something and get a completely honest answer?"
Reid smiled at Taylor as he kissed his hand. "Please! Me? The indestructible Reid! Break something! Ha! Don't make me laugh!"
The question made Reid uneasy. "...Uh okay?"
"It's just...something Sarah said that's..kinda been bugging me." He said. "I...She said that she knew more about you than I did. I don't know..maybe she was just trying to make me feel bad... but ... you're not keeping anything from me, right?" Not that I should even ask this. What if he turns it around on me? What am I supposed to do? Tell him I'm a fucking witch hunter? He'd think I'm crazy. Witches.... He thought to himself.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shitshitshitshitshit--- Reid's mind was on super highway freak out! What the hell could he say to that?! Really!
"Well, uh, I don't think so. I mean I do have things I'm worried to tell you...I guess. But Sarah only knows things cause of Caleb. And it's not like the things she knows matter. So no. No you will find out those things...It's just..." Reid put a hand on his forehead it still hurt.
"You could get hurt...The stuff I have in my life doesn't feel real. It's hard. It's like a weird comic book or something-do you understand?"
"Yeah...I understand." He nodded a little, "Probably more than most people would."
Reid looked over at him. "I just want to know something, myself."
He didn't wait for a response. He WAS Reid after all. "Are we okay now? Please tell me we are okay?"
Tell me I can hold you again and we can make out and just damn, come on Tay!
"Yeah," He nodded slowly. "We're okay." Taylor said softly, smiling a little.
Reid grinned and relaxed a little bit, he then leaned forward and awkwardly asked for Taylor to kiss him.
Taylor smiled gently, reaching up, tilting Reid's chin up slightly before connecting their lips in a soft kiss.
"Mmmrmmphhh." Reid felt better after mummbling the truth into the boy's mouth, course Taylor couldn't hear it but he didn't feel so guilty. I'm a witch. After he pulled away he yawned.
"Damn. I'm supposed to go study.." he grumbled kicking at his notebook.
Taylor's hand fell to rest on the other boy's knee. "Do you have to?"
Reid sent him a look and smiled at the pouty lips of his boyfriend. "Well...no." Reid took a deep breath and let his chin puff out for a minute and then nodded as if making a final decision. "Come on!" He said and grabbing Taylor's hand he pulled him with him. "We gotta go! Come on!"
Let's hit Nicky's. It's probably empty right now! PERFECT!
Taylor laughed softly and allowed himself to be pulled along by the blonde. "Where're we going?"
